XXXTentacion‘s son is getting so big! New photos have been posted by his former girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, showing off their one-year-old child, Gekyume Onfroy. Fans can’t get over how much he resembles the late rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy. In the latest shots, shared by The Shade Room on Friday, April 24, Jenesis is seen holding onto the tiny tyke who’s sporting nothing but a diaper and thin gold chain. Fans immediately began filling up the post’s comment section labeling their son XXXTentacion’s “twin.”
Another snap shows a close-up of Gekyume’s sweet little face. Appearing shirtless in red suspenders with his hair combed perfectly to the side, the “Save Me” rapper’s son looked adorable as he tapped into his musical genes with a piano in the background. The third picture is of Gekyume during Easter. Dressed in his Sunday best, which included a pastel-colored shirt with a pair of khaki pants and tiny boat shoes, XXXTentacion and Jenesis’ baby is photographed posing on the grass alongside his holiday baskets with toys surrounding him.
Overnight, The Shade Room’s post collected over 800k likes with hundreds doing a double-take. Several dropped comments about how much the baby is turning into XXXTentacion. “That baby look just like him omg ????,” one person wrote. “He came back as his kid,” another fan added. ” I swear that baby looks just like his father. May his soul rest and protect his child ?,” posted a third. Disney star Skai Jackson also put her two-cents in. “Jahs twin?,” she labeled the toddler. These are just the latest shots we’ve seen of Gekyume since his father’s death in 2018.
As The Blast reported, XXXTentacion died on June 18, 2018, of gunshot wounds after he was fatally shot in a robbery outside of a motorcycle dealership in Florida. There were four men connected to the crime who were later arrested. They are currently awaiting the rapper’s murder trial. As for Jenesis Sanchez she was at odds with XXXTentacion’s mom, Cleopatra Bernard, after his death. Jenesis filed paperwork with the court asking them to legally recognize XXX as the legal father of their son. The duo put their differences aside in February of this year, and reached a settlement.
