Prepare your drawing materials and start drawing.
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 15 minutes.
How to Draw Flames Step by Step
- Draw a portion of the outline of the flames on the left.
In the first step, use curved lines to depict pointed, developing flames.
- Add a portion of the outline of the flames to the right.
Finish drawing the outline of the flames on the right by analogy with the left side.
- Depict the outline of the inner flame layer.
Draw a curved line within the outline of the flame to outline the inner layer of the flame.
- Draw another part of the outline of the inner flame layer.
Use a wavy line to represent the developing flames on the right side.
- Add another inner flame layer on the left.
Sketch out part of the outline of the inner flame layer on the left side like the outer outline.
- Finish painting this layer.
Using curved lines, add another inner flame layer similar to the outer one.
- Add the last inner layer.
Draw the outline of this layer in the smallest size in comparison with the previous layers.
- Add details.
Depict a wavy line on the right side of the painted flame layer.
- Color the drawing.
