Product Description
10 pounds (1500 copper pennies) 1909-1982. I’ve been asked how many Wheat pennies are expected. So i did a random 10 unit search. I found the average box has 60 Wheat pennies..There was a high of 92 and a low of 45. Also the average box had 9 pre-1939 pennies. IMPORTANT thede lots are random. I do not search anything. This is exactly what I get from 5 different back “Coinstar” style machines. I only remove the zinc (1983-Present pennies).

It is a good venture for the money, it was exactly as listed mostly 60-80″s with approx 40 20-50’s was enjoyable looking thru them

The penny collection weighed in at approximately 10 lbs upon arrival, so this crucial part of the item description was entirely accurate. The actual contents of the horde was mainly post-1958 Lincoln Memorial types, but I was pleasantly surprised to find 60 wheat pennies of various dates, including a couple from the ‘teens. Another positive thing of note was the presence of several Memorial pennies that showed little to no wear, and would probably be graded at least “very fine”. Overall, the collection is a fine bunch of pennies at a reasonable price.

OK…I have ordered this heavy box of copper pennies 5 times and have yet to be dissatisfied ..Some coins clean up very nicely in my ultrasonic machine …. been averaging about 40-50 wheat pennies per order…few canadian…even got a buffalo nickel in one order….
I am older and disabled…this has been great therapy for my well being….and…the Grandkids will be thrilled with real copper pennies…

Correct weight, with all zinc pennies filtered out. And very well packaged in neat individual 10lb boxes.
